Abstract
Migration of metal clips into the bladder following radical retropubic prostatectomy has been described a small number of times in the literature. In this article, we present a case in which intravesical migration of metal clips occurred following radical retropubic prostatectomy resulted in bladder calculus. A 58-year-old man, who had undergone radical retropubic prostatectomy four years ago, presented with painful micturition, residual urine sensation and severe perineal pain. Radiography and cystoscopy showed a large stone with metal clip. As treatment for this stone, transurethral holmium laser lithotripsy was successfully performed.
